I'm willing to email a copy of the death registration to anyone who'd like a go at reading the cause of death. My best guess (and it's definitely a guess), is.... FLEPNIPHILEGIA ..... Any ideas?

My e-mail's [email protected] if you want me to have a go. Also, there's a site called www.antiquusmorbus.com that you might find useful. It's got a lot of archaic medical terms on there.

Thankyou to Sue, Horatia and Kate for PM'ing me - here's hoping 3 fresh sets of eyes can work out what she died from (apart from old age)!

Hi Ann, It is! Again I thank the three wonderful ladies that took a look for me and came up with hemiplegia - It appears my ancestor may have suffered a stroke 4 days before she died. :)
