Hi right, well i would send it as cash and get Post office to send it registered post, you won't be able to get a cheque made in euros for that amount, my company can do them but min is £1000. and the smallest travellers cheque is 50Euro so still too big. the other problem is getting hold of the 2 euros, as most places don't deal in coins !! and the smallest note is a 5. you might have to ask around all your friends if you could buy any off them if they have recently been on holiday !! you are talking about £7 for 10 Euro, bargain in Ireland then, thats the price of one cert. here !!! and am sure post office could advise on stamps, hope it helps Jane

thanks to all, is sending € cash sensible? Two certs at € 6 each .. what kind of money order? Postal order? and would we need a € ,SAE.? Bob

word of warning- if you pay by debit card your bank will charge you abt 2%, unless you have a Nationwide account - they are the only bank that wont charge you , that applies to both transactions in this country regarding buying currency and abroad transactions. Jane

Help, Please we need to get some certificates from GRO ireland, they insist on payment in euro's, and won't accept a barclays cheque made out in euro's I have never dealt with euro's how can I get the required currency, please, anyone. Bob
