Hi Margaret If you try a 'Google Search' it will give you a number of sites that will give you information. http://www[.]hjcards.co.uk/general[.]htm There are photographs HV Swan & HV Solent [Sealink (UK) LTD]on this site with hundreds of other photo's of ships.-- Jim

There is a place in Southampton for tracing boats though I cannot remember the address. Suggest you get in touch with the local library or Record Office to ask for help There is also a place in Cardiff and the Guildhall Library in London has all the Lloyds Lists and their website is below. http(://)www(.)cityoflondon(.)gov(.)uk Remove brackets Janet

Can anyone advise on how one might trace boat ownership? I am trying to trace ownership of MV Solent Swan. 'Solent' suggests to me Southampton area. Help gratefully acknowledged
