A member of the Watters family (father of Thomas Marshall Watters born c.1880) was apparently awarded a certificate for being the youngest sea captain of the merchant navy at the age of 21, any ideas where I could get a copy of this or more info??? Thanks Laura

Hi Laura, if you open the site www.nationalarchives.gov.uk, and enter his name in full on opening page, you may get a result. I was only an apprentice, but my record is on this site.
