A member of my family has spent the past couple of years producing a tree its very comprehensive with nearly 500 people on dating backk to 1700! Sadly she died earlier this year and I would like to take over the ownership of the tree. I can log in as her but I dont know how to copy the tree and move it into my file. I am unable to expoort it as a Gedcom file as I cannot access her e-mail. I am desperate not to loose the tree as she has put so much hard work in to it, but I feel its wrong to keep logging in as her. Please can anyone tell me how to copy the entire tree and place it to my account? Thank you Chris |

Assuming you had her permission to adopt her tree as you have her log in details, you could change the email address GR have recorded in the My Account Details section (to your left) so that they have your email address not hers then export as normal. I'd suggest that you store it to your PC and credited your relative for her work then copy the whole file if you plan to ammalgamate it with your own tree so you always have a reference source for her section of the tree. |

If you can log in as her, then surely you can go to the 'my account details' section and input an email address which you can access. Then you could export the tree. |
