Could anyone look up 1861 or 1871 Census for a William Todd who married either Jane Twentyman or Alice Duke in 1855 and died before 1888 and had a son Robert Todd. or William Todd who married Elizabeth Donafee or Alice Ann Grey in June 1861 and died before 1888 and had a son Robert Todd. When was William born? When was Robert born? Where are they from?

I don't know when William was born I think about 1842 'sh and died before 1888 Robert was born 1863 married Harriet Cane in 1888 June. Robert came from Rillington in Yorkshire If it helps William is on the wedding certificate as being a Mason.

Found Robert in 1871 I think. Only shows mother - Sarah. She has a son - Douglas - born 1860, so I'll see if he's in 1861. Just for info the William Todd marriage in 1855 took place in Gateshead and the 1861 marriage in South Shields Maureen
