Pallot's Marriage Index has some entries from St Giles in the Fields. Could be worth looking there on Ancestry. |

The internet is ok to help your research, but there comes a time when you have to go to the records office. For the area you want it is most likely you need the LMA, search the online database for the relevant area and you can find the availability of the records along with film numbers etc. |

Hi There seems to be a St Giles in the fields - parish records at The London Metropolitan Archives, 40 Northampton Road, London. and also St Giles without cripplegate - presumably the LMA would be able to tell you the whereabouts of these records, or a search on Genuki or a similar site may be of some use in pinpointing the relevant churches and locations of parish records. If you are unsure you may have some trawling to do, are there any pointers on the IGI. Regards Gail |

I have a Thomas Brewer born St Giles in 1801, he has a sister, Ann born in 1808 in St Giles. I know Thomas was a grocer and moved out from St Giles to Greenwich area in 1851 and his father was Thomas. Any ideas how to get hold of parish records for the St Giles area of London, as I'm thoroughly stuck. Any help would be appreciated! Lucette |
