Relation - Prisoner? What does it mean?

If there are only two prisoners then I would say police station, if there was a long list then that would be different. It could have just been an over night stay if he'd been arrested.

So he was in Police custody........ Reg

He was in Wandsworth, held at the police station as a prisoner. If you read the image it says 'Page 7,the names of two prisoners omitted from the police station. Now brought forward' He was in the nick, hence relationship prisoner.

Hi It says at the side something like 'at page 7 names of 2 prisoners ommitted at police station now bought forward.' Regards Gail update- the next bit is something about police barracks can any one read it . 1861 census Source Citation: Class: RG9; Piece: 368; Folio: 139; Page: 46; GSU roll: 542624.

Have you looked at the image? Is it a prison on that page? They are included on each census.
