Hi Joyce, there is no magic wand to finding the info you seek. You have to plough through BMDs. I usually start from when the man is about twenty. You could look on Ancestry, up until 1920 marriges are transcribed,giving partner`s name after that it is a plod. Until you find marriage you wont know MMN so looking for children is pretty hopeless. Looking on the bright side it is an uncommon name and you have an idea of the district. Although he could have gone to war and married anywhere! Sorry not to be more helpful. Sylvia. |
