Hi Cath I'm sorry I can't find any of these. If the IGI is to be believed the marriage was probably in Crayke and the baptisms in Stillington. Sorry Gina

Gina , Here is a few for you look look up if you don't mind . Birth Stephen Smelt abt 1731 he married an Elizabeth Thorpe . Birth William Smelt abt 1706 he married a Dorothy ? if you could check for marriage please .first child born abt 1722. Birth Dorothy Smelt abt 1764 and Robert 1761 both parents were Stephen and Elizabeth Smelt. Thanks Cath

Hi Cath None come up in Kirkdale These from Kirkbymoorside Marriages 9 Nov 1750 John SMELT and Elizabeth STEED 9 May 1785 - Robert SMELT, shoemaker OTPO Crayke and Priscilla BAILEY sp. OTP. Banns. Witnesses Ann Bailey, Ann Robinson, Dorothy Smelt and Thomas Easterby Baptisms 2 Dec 1782 John ill son of Elizabeth SMELT Burials Jane SMELT d. of Robert and Priscilla Bailey died 29 Nov 1788 buried 30 Nov 1788. No age given Elizabeth wid. of John SMELT died 6 May 1790, buried 8 May 1790 aged 75 There may be others which a manual search would pick up but it's too long to trawl through. There is no index. If you are seeking anyone in particular I'll have another look Cheers Gina
