Hi Kathleen, You need to look at the BMD index to ascertain their birth quarter and year, when you find them ( the census will give you a rough idea of year of birth and location) there will be a volume number and page number for the entry.Using this you can get the birth certificates, you can order online from the GRO at £7 each. If you post some details we can have a look for you, or pm me details, or if you wish, you can try yourself on ancestry, they are free to view. www.ancestry(.)co.uk Remove the () Hope this helps Keith |
