aaah! please rescue me! after years of trying to find grandad, found him John Henry Moore b. 28 Aug 1891 Stourbridge Worcs. mum mary Harris, dad also John Henry Moore. when I looked on 1901 I got mum as Louisa?! Have I swopped families? Is gt grandaddy a bigamist? help! |

I am wondering if his first wife died and he had married for a second time. Perhaps checking the relevant bmds for a deathe for Mary and a marriage to Louisa could help. |

I can't find a death for Mary, or a marriage for Louisa. Plus their DOBs are identical. |

Same here, wonder if the enumerator just made a mistake. Only way to be sure is to send for the latest child's birth certificate, but It does look like one and the same person. Regards Gail |
