Sorry, I'm having a stupid day at the moment. But HOW do I find the list of a new contact's relations? I used to be able to do this with the original old tree as it was an essential part of the navigation. However, I think it may have been phased out when that was replaced by the tree previous to the latest one. All I want to do is check through a list of my contact's names to see if there are any other coincidences with the wider family of my lot. It should be dead simple to do but I am at a loss how to do it. |

Tracey , you can still access the old tree. At the top of the new tree it says back to old tree. Just click on that. I do it all the time Hope it works for you Hannah |

Hi Hannah. I've tried that but it doesn't include the name list function unfortunately. There must be a way of getting a straight alphabetical list of a contact's tree individuals without having to do it by a process of elimination, surely. |

the list of contact trees are on the right hand side with your tree in alphabetical order it will show you their tree in a big tree just click on change view to Immediate family. jeanette it doesn't now list their relations in a list only way is to look at their tree and search for thier relations |

Oh dear, then that is no good at all. You have to know who you are looking for, in other words. No way of stumbling across a name in a list which you can recognise without having to search for it. |

I think the list you are referring to went some time ago. It was fine for small trees, but not much use for those with hundreds or even thousands of names. |

Thanks Peter. I shall hunt for it no more! I did find it useful for those smaller trees because, as you say, it did take some ploughing through with big trees. I think it used to cover 100 names at a time which was a good list length too. |
