Hi All I have hit a huge brick wall, I am trying to trace may Granda's family.I have found all the infomation I can from my family members. And I just cannot seem to find his grandparents. All the info I have is below. Should anyone have any advice on where to turn to next I'd be very happy!!! My Granda is Edward Ronald Mason born in Newcastle Upon Tyne 1937. He grew up on the Foss Way near Walker in Newcastle. His parents were Affred Ernest Mason born 1898 and Mary Gee born 1898. Both were born in Newcastle Upon Tyne. They had 7 children and Mary had a daughter from a previous relationship. The children were; Mary Gee born 1917 (Place of born is unknown) Alfred Ernest Mason born 1919 Gladys Mason born 1921 Olive Mason born c1925 Andrew mason born c1928 Madge Mason born 1930 Edward Ronald Mason born 1937 (My Granda) Leslie Mason born 1939 All children with the possible exception of Mary were born in Newcastle Upon Tyne. I have no further information on my Great Grandparents apart from Mary Gee had a sister named Ginny (I am guessing that is short for Virginnia, although I am open for sugestions on that one). Also Madge and Leslie emergated to Australia. Leslie has moved between Australia and New Zealand and I am not sure were he is currently. As far as I am aware Madge married a man named Norman (Unsure of surname) and had 3 children (2 boys and a girl) I am not sure of the boys names but her daughter was called Norma. I believe Leslie had 2 sons, although I am not terribly sure on that. Thanks for the advice!!! Julie |

Hi Julie, if you go here http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/ you can order online at a cost of £7. You will need the vol (10a) and page number (2596) that Tracy gave you and of course the registration district and names. Good luck Keith |
