Hi Tracey Does it say what the head of house proffession is. I'm so exicted have found her in 1901 with Husband Edward It should be Mapletoft !!!! But it confirms she was born in 1874 in Tamworth Staffs. But the marriage I can find for her parents is 1861 in Notts which is a bit strange. Name: Lilly Imaplcroft Age: 27 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1874 Relation: Wife Spouse's name: Edward Gender: Female Where born: Tamworth, Warwickshire, England Civil Parish: Hucknall Torkard Ecclesiastical parish: St Mary County/Island: Nottinghamshire Country: England Will take a look at 1881 now be back in a min Cheryl |

Alfred Beals is a Coal Miner. He appears in 1891 with a wife called Ellen. His ''brother'' John is also with them (the one who is listed as son born 1868). John and Alfred in 1871... Thomas Beal abt 1830 Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England Head Bolehall and Glascote Staffordshire Caroline Beal abt 1832 Bedworth, Warwickshire, England Wife Bolehall and Glascote Staffordshire Joseph Beal Thomas abt 1858 Tamworth, Staffordshire, England Son Bolehall and Glascote Staffordshire Alfred Beal abt 1856 Bedworth, Warwickshire, England Son Bolehall and Glascote Staffordshire John T Beal abt 1869 Bedworth, Warwickshire, England Son Bolehall and Glascote Staffordshire Samuel Orson abt 1850 Tamworth, Staffordshire, England Lodger Bolehall and Glascote Staffordshire |

Hi Tracy Sorry the Broad Band is playing up. I'm getting lost now so let me get this right. If Lily Beals with mother Sarah in 1881 is the same was as the Lily Atkins with mother Sarah in 1891 who the h**l is Edwin Atkins. But that does explain why I can't find my Grandmothers Birth Certificate. She could havd been born Mary Beals not Mary Atkins. Sorry to be a pain but can you see a birth for either Lily Atkins/Beals c 1871 or Mary Atkins/Beals c1881. On my Grans marriage certifcate it states that her father was Edwin Atkins Coal Miner.
