Jayne Just for info... You only need to put the brackets before the (.)com and (.)co in the address.....You don't need to bracket the other dots. Chris :) |

Jayne If you type a (.)com or (.)co in the address you have to do what I have just done and put brackets round the dots.....The site won't allow them without the dots. Guess the hosts didn't think we were clever enough in the old days to work our way around it......But seeing we have been doing it for at least the last two plus years..... LOL Chris |

I have mariners in my family and have been struggling to find out anything about them. Tonight I googled mariners and came up with this sites. They are really good, the first one even gives you names of passengers on the ships and stowaways. I hope they come in handy for someone. Please let me know if anyone has any success http://mariners.records.nsw.gov.au/1880/04/8004.htm http://www.rootsweb.com/~wajcgs/mariners/captb.html http://www.angelfire.com/ga/BobSanders/SEAMEN.html http://www.islandregister.com/index.html http://www.islandregister.com/mariners.html http://www.mariners-l.co.uk/UKMasters.html http://www.library.dal.ca/archives/unms2.htm http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/Mariners/1998-12 http://members.ozemail.com.au/~clday/mariners.htm http://www.scotsgenealogy.com/acatalog/Mariners.html Good luck Jayne |
