Thank you so much Reggie, Georgina & Roger. I have corrected my assumptions now (Roger, all accounted for now) It is great to be able to ask some from that town or County, and I hope I can do the same for you here in Oz. Jood

Hi Jood, These places are quite small, and are all within 5 or 6 miles from Tewkesbury in the SW of Worcester. Eldersfield, Chacely and Forthampton are West and a bit South from Tewkesbury and Kemerton is North East of Tewkesbury. Hope that helps. Roger

Georgina

Jood, Eldersfield & Chaceley are in Worcestershire not sure of the others. Georgina.

Glashire is possibly Glo'shire.....or Gloucestershire, which is the next county to Worcestershire. Chaceley is correct The others are probably Forthampton and Kemerton.........both in Gloucestershire Post some names.........I'll check them out Reg

If I pm'd someone with an 1871 census, could they identify the towns mentioned please? The towns are in Worcestershire, one is Eldersfield - one looks like Chacely?? Is there a Glashire and a town called Forlliampton and another called Kemestone? Jood in Oz.
