Help with reading 1901 census

Thank you all for your help. I looked at the free 1901 and for Joseph it just said Postman and for Frank it just said Carter Co so thankfully it looks like it's not me needing new glasses! Lyndsey |

Have now found frank on the 1901 on here just says carter and (co) had to put it in brackets |

I think the word after postman might be Crown (as in Royal Mail). Can't make out the word after Carter. Kath. x |

It's just postman. The other word is something added later by the enumerator to classify the type of job. Janice |

if you scroll to your right you can put name in on the 1901 for free it will come up with occupation Jeanette update couldn't see son so looked on image can't make out last word either |

Can someone help me read a couple of entries on the 1901 census please. Joseph Robinson (Head) age 63, born in Meesden, Hertfordshire. He is a postman but I cannot read the word after that. Also, his son Frank Robinson age 22, born in Meesden, working on his own account - he is a carter and ? Many thanks Lyndsey |
