Thanks to everyone. I contacted GR and like magic all my names are there! I can breath with relief now.

Hi thanks Liesele, Jim & Peter. My new info is on both trees, I have just exported the old one and it still omits the new info, so now I have both exported to FTM but without the new info. Have any of you exported AFTER adding new names? And are the new names there?

As far as I can see you only have one set of data, whether you view it using the new viewer program or the old, it is still the same information. I would just go ahead and export it - let us know how you get on.

I suggest you compare the trees. I entered five names yesterday, using new tree and they show in both trees.

Hi Anna, I really wouldn't worry about exporting the new tree for the time being. You can still view the tree in the old format and export that with the new info that you put in which should download in the gedcom file. I exported my GR tree (old format) and was well surprised that it worked like a charm and uploaded it to ancestry. No problems, of course do remember to remove your security options when viewing the attachment and re-set once viewed. Best wishes for your move to the new home. Liesele

In a weeks time I am moving to area with no internet coverage, and urgently need to export my tree to FTM. Only the old tree seems to export and I´ve just added hours of work onto the new one. Help please!
