Janet, St. Cuthberts is on the corner of Plessey Road and Wellington Street. St. Wilfrids is on Waterloo Road. My mum (who lives in Blyth) says the church on Percy Street/Bridge Street was always just called the Congregational Chuch (it's still there but it's a job centre now). Hope this helps. Nicola

Please, where exactly is Our Lady and St Wilfrid’s RC and also St Cuthbert’s (the C of E one )? On the 1922 map, there was a church at the junction of Bridge St (which now seems to be an extension of Waterloo Rd) and Percy St – was this Presbyterian, and has it gone, along with the houses, in redevelopment of the area? Thanks for reading this, and any help would be welcome. Jay

My dad was born in Percy Street (now gone) and I am having difficulty comparing 1922 map with present day. I am trying to locate 2 churches and identify another. See below in a min - Jay
