Try CCleaner http://www.ccleaner(.)com/ It can make a big difference. One of the best. Before using it you need to 'whitelist' sites like this but thats very easy. Bob |

It's pretty much impossible to give you a sensible answer wihout knowing more about your system. but as a general point one of the main things that slows computers that were once quite fast down is too many programs opening automatically on start up or running in the background. I suggest downloading a free program called 'what's running' www.whatsrunning.net This basically tells you what programs are running on your computer and are being switched on at startup and allows you to turn off /stop auto starting any that are unnecessary.
