My Lifes wish fullfilled(updated)

My lifes wish was to find out what happened to me in my first 18 months before I was adopted. I had been told my B/Mother had died when I was months old.(1950) This year I started resarching + found out that story was true, it was quite emotional to actually see her death on the registers. Anway, after searching for months + months I decided to stop looking for any living rellies + concentrate on the past. I should mention, I had actually found one rellie but she had been fostered so didnt know anything about the family. ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT I noticed a *hot match* on my list. I e-mailed + luckily the person who posted was online(she rang her Mum). THEN: a message from her Mum I had found my Birth God Mother!! It was my lifes wish. SHE SENT ME A WONDERFUL E-MAIL it told me all about my early life!! Can you imagine, after 50+ years actually finding that out. It is indescribable, I am still in a dream!!!! SO don't dismiss the *hot matches*!! + NEVER give up. Regards Ann

Thank you all for your messages. I am still in a dream, I can hardly believe it. ALL this from a *hot match*! She is just an amazing woman + has sent me really chatty e-mails, bless her. I now know I have 22 cousins + other fam. members! But the main thing is I feel a whole person, if you can understand what I mean. I have to confess, I am sitting here with a glass of wine/well actually I am on my 2nd if I am honest, lol( I treat myself to the good stuff for once!). Thanks again for your wishes Regards Ann xx

Oh YES keep looking Mary, don't give up. Think positive. Put as many names as you can on your tree. To narrow down the *hot matches* don't put 'Unknown' in any of the boxes, I put a ? instead. I feel extremely lucky + just wish everyone good luck in their searches. Regards Ann
