So it affects that too! The problem siblings in my contact's tree are long dead, having ben born in the late 18th century so I think it is a different glitch.

hmmmn I see you found the problem with the 'hide living relatives' then. This is what happens when you choose to opt into this hiding relatives bit, (the connection doesnt appear, however when yoiu do person search, they are there,) oh and BTW, if you do choose to hide, you can't see who is hidden only other people looking at your tree CAN, brilliant eh?? (NOT) ANOTHER wonderful FLAW of this site Julie

The contact whose tree I wrote about just emailed me to tell me the brother and sister are still correctly connected when he views his tree. When I view it, however, the brother is still floating detached from the rest of the tree. Most mysterious. (I'm still viewing it in the older tree version as the newer version won't open his tree at all.)

I wouldn't know Tracy. I'm still getting 'My Contacts' whenever I try and view a shared tree!! Grrrr! Debbie

One of my contact's GR tree (viewed with the older viewer as the newer one won't open it at all) now shows an ancestor's brother as totally separate from the rest of the tree. He was connected to their shared parents when I'd looked at the tree last week. Now he can only be accessed through the name search and not through the tree view. All very odd. Has anybody else had this happen?
