There is this marriage in 1935, that sounds like it could be a society wedding going by the name of the groom:- Hilda M. Arnold to Walter T. A. Du Faur March qtr. 1935, Hammersmith, 1a, 378 Might be worth ordering the certificate and stipulating that you only want it if the bride's father is called George. Kath. x

i think that George Arnold wasn`t born in birmingham but in Stafforshire as most of the other family members i have are there would they be on any of the census as owning the shop?

I have found in census Arnold who was a fruiterer. Do you know what kind of shop it was?

I think the Hilda born in 1913 could have been from this marriage... Marriages Jun 1905 >>Arnold William Aston 6d 692 Parry Dorothy Aston 6d 692 >>TOMMS Agnes Aston 6d 692 WALKER Harry Joseph Aston 6d 692 Its the only Arnold /Tomms marriage I can see between 1900-1912. Georgina.
