Hi folks, I had an interesting message from a member of the site the other day. I had emailed him over 12 months ago about a connection and hadn't heard from him. I gave up hope about there being a link, which I was almost certain was a member of my hubby's side of the family, Well it now appears that his father and my F-i-L's dad were brothers. The member has been so busy working on his tree (but not on this site, but by using another programme), his own web page,and work commiments which includes all sorts of information, and work commiments, that he hadn't been using the site as much as some of us do. All I want to say is don't give up if you email someone and don't get a reply instantly, it doesn't mean that you have been ignored, it could just be that some members don't use the site as regularly as some of us do. I agree, I always think if the dates and places are similar may be they will be a distant relative that you just have not located yet, so dont give up hope |
