I have had a similar service from two different ROs. I ordered a cert by email - not an online order - asking if they had this particular cert, was the father Joe Bloggs, and how much would it be. I did this about midnight Sunday/Monday morning. I got the cert Tuesday am, with an invoice! The other I ordered by phone (after a long conversation with a lovely lady discussing and discounting various possibilities) on Friday afternoon. I got it Saturday morning. This same lady also casually mentioned that there was an unpublished manuscript in the local reference library about my family.......it proved my most valuable research tool for almost 5,000 members of an extended family! I sent her a bunch of flowers. OC

I live not far from our local Register Office, and on Sunday my son had a football match just opposite. I posted 2 application forms through the door with cheques. This was Sunday; today through the post, I received my certificate (the only reason I didn't receive the 2nd certificate was because I didn't sign the cheque - doh!). Absolutely brilliant service don't you think? I have to say that whenever I have been there in person, they are so helpful and try their best for you. They NEVER take your money if any of the details are wrong. Best wishes Carol
