Hey! stop moaning about GR giving you a new tree format thingy! We now have a HUGE square with excatly the same info on as before(not alot) and you get to use up all your ink on printing it also LOADSA paper! I feel priviledged (sorry spelling) as i have nice BIG pink and blue squares....others only get green ones... This is called PROGRESS! Gotta go as I'm going to mend the washing machine. It aint broke but I'm going to mend it anyway....Maybe it will turn out BIGGER? Gerri (being sarcastic) lol PS...GR please dont ban me..I love those BIG squares! lol A suggestion to GR...Why cant we delete a 'mistake' if they have children? I have a few mistakes on my tree which I have had to rename...Mr.& Mrs Gotit Wrongs. Am waiting to see how many 'Gotit Wrongs' I get back on my Hot matches. |

I've got the Flash Viewer won't load problem too. Does anybody have the answer?? The new facilities sound good, but useless if you can't access them. I'm waiting for help from the 'Genes' team, but there must be others who have this problem. Come on guys - share your experiences on this one, |

It may depend which browser you are using. Gene's doesn't appear to be compatible with anything other than internet explorer, which I gave up using as my main browser some time ago as I find it very slow!! Sadly not had much luck with viewing my family tree or others on gene's via Firefox or Opera.... Any solutions gratefully accepted :-) |

Don't know what a flash viewer is called. We have Firefox and have no problem getting to the family tree. Probably because I still use the old URL (is that what it's called?) www.genesreunited*co*uk/tree*asp* Change the first 3 stars for dots and the final star for a hash sign. This brings up the old style tree. Suggest you try that and see what happens. Also, at the top of the page when you get to the new style tree, you will see a box marked 'Old Tree', click on that and you will be back to the old favourite. Agree about deleting mistakes, I had an e-mail debate with the help line and all I got was that to delete a mistake means deleting all the people related to the person you have put in in error. Not very helpful if you already have loads of people in your tree. |

Hi, I always go back to the old tree as it takes so long for the new one to load but don't have any problems when reverting to the old one. Wonder how long they will keep that facility on though. Christine in Portugal |

I can't download Flash either. I have a new computer with Windows XP. Had no trouble with the old computer with XP and Flash. It downloads but won't install. The tech has told me it is a problem with Flash and here in Australia the big companies are moving to an easier program. Have no idea what it is though. It's a pain because I used Flash a lot. |
