Tribal Pages have an automatic matching service. If you use your edit password, you should see a section called About Your Website - the matches will be there. It tells you how many other trees you match with. However, as you have only just added your tree, you may not have any yet. Keep checking back. Cheers, Horatia PS You can choose to make your website private or open but you still get the matches.

I have one good match with a lot of names including my grandmother and a couple of other small matches. I think most of the names are American at present. You will only get matches if you opt for a directory listing. It matches by date of birth and death so you will only get a match if you have added the death details. They also have a new search facility that lets you see all the immediate family details for sites that have not been password protected so you can see instantly if it is the right family. My grandmother was Louisa Blacker 1882- 1971 Midsummer Norton if you try searching for her using the search facility at the top you will see what I mean. You still have to contact the site owner to see photo's or other notes. I tried upgrading to the £10.00 site as an experiment but it has not brought up any more matches. Anne

Th paid for service allows you to upload more photos which I like. I'm not bothered about matches now. I think I have found all the living relatives I am likely to find. Cheers, Horatia
