I presume your father is no longer alive? If my assumption is correct then people would need a rough year of birth and place of birth to be able to offer any assistance. However, if your father is alive then it is wise not to put his personal details on a website for privacy and internet fraud reasons. Cheers, Horatia

Rachel, I was going to say, put Albert's name into the 'Quick search' at the top of the screen and see who else has him on their tree, but it looks very much as if only you and somebody with the same first name as your father have him on their trees on here, so perhaps that won't help. There are various things you could try, such as finding out if Albert left a will, get a copy and see who is named in it, or find out your grandmother's maiden name and then look through the birth indexes for children of the same surname as your father with the same mother's maiden name (although if her maiden name was something like Smith, that might not be much help!) Or wait to see if somebody else puts him onto their tree on here in future... Kate.
