Well Linda - you've given me an idea - maybe I should go through them all again. Never know, I may find someone I missed before!!! LOL

It has been interesting reading the replies but it looks to me like Peter has been right all along. You don't seem to be able to delete them. I have had some success with them so quite enjoy getting them but think there should be a facility on site to permanently despatch the ones you don't want - for good!! Thanks to all who replied to the thread.

I think you have to go into account details and tick the box that says please don't send me e mails about hot matches. This seems to stop the hot matches as well. Anne

Okay; I'm b~a~c~k. I have gotten rid of the 30 odd pages from my current hot matches and down to one page. Now, can someone remind me how NOT to GET hot matches in the first place. I know it is possible to turn it off - just can't remember HOW!!! Victoria

aahhh right i see now, so when i get mine i always click on the one underneath disreguard or something and then they go for good.

Margaret, You only have ignored hot matches after you have ticked some of them to be ignored. This then gives you two list, current matches and ignored marches. Until you tick some as ignored, you will only have current matches.

Unfortunately you can't permanently delete hot matches, only ignore / hide them. I have 54 pages of the reched things half of which say:- This Hot Match no longer seems to exist on the site, the owner of this relation may have removed it from their tree

Margaret - click on ignored hot matches bottom left. However Peter seems pretty certain they can't be removed.

how do you find how many pages you have??

InspectorGreenPen

InspectorGreenPen Report 15 Oct 2006 12:11

The is a toggle on the bottom left which enables you to switch between current and ignored matches. As I said you can't remove them. It is qickest to do them a page at a time, tick the boxes then hit save.

Do you mean you have to do them one at a time? Mine are all ticked but nothing happens when I click save.

Just tried that Victoria. Didn't work. Have you actually removed some?

Victoria Report 15 Oct 2006 11:57

Hi Purple-lady - inspired by your thread I looked and found I have 31 pages. Oooohahhh Start at the last page, tick every box (don't show me these again) and hit save at the bottom of the page. Enjoy the next hour - I will be doing the same. Victoria

Afraid you can't get rid of them. Just leave them marked as ignored if you do not need them.

I have just discovered I have 26 pages of ignored hot matches and I haven't a clue how to get rid of them. Can anyone help please???
