hiya'll I Have had a reply!!! from GR see below Thanks for your email. There were two attempts to auto renew your registration on the same day, the second attempt succeeded but went through as 9.95. As the payment was made on the due date and we did advise your renewal would cost 7.50 I have refunded the balance to your card. hiya Lunar the Pricing was on the accounts bit until recently am *sure* of it My hubby IS that disgusted with the way things are handled he has taken his tree off here, I have mailed GR and we will see what happens. will keep you all notified Julie

Julie ITV abolished lower membership fees for continuous members when they took over GR earlier in the year. At that time the issued a statement stating that if you renewel email stated a lower fee it would be honered but in all future renewal the higher rate would be charged to all members regardless of the length of time that they had been members. There were also hundreds of threads complaining about it and there was utter confustion for weeks.

Can not seen anything about the membership fee in T&C. Wish they would use spell check before they put anything on system - receive is right - recieve is wrong !!! Maureen

I have just sent and email to Genes Support, asking them to advise me on the different prices if I choose Continuous or Annual as I want to choose the cheapest option. Will see if they reply in the next few days. Kath. x

Just checked, and see: My Membership and payment details You are currently a paid member You joined the site on the 13th of April, 2004 Your paid membership expires on the 20th of April, 2007 My membership type Continuous membership One year membership Continuous membership means we will renew your membership for you automatically, but we will email you in advance to notify you. If you choose one year membership, we will let you know when your paid membership expires. To update your membership type, select from the options above and click save.
