Morning Everyone, I hope someone can help me with this as I'm stumped and on the verge of giving up the hunt. I am looking for the burial place of my gt grandfather, neither my Grandad or Nan can remember exactly where he was buried. My Aunt found this for me, warminster journal 18 oct 1968'Walter Fredrick Willshire died 17/10/68 Winsley hospital formerly of Chapel st Warminster'. Although the name is actually spelt Willsher it is the correct one. No further details given, only Willshires on micrifiche for Christchurc Warminster Sidney and Henry? (1950&1980). I can't find him in the following churches; Bradford upon avon, Warminster, Christchurch, Wooton Bassett there was another one but I can't remember what it was. We know he was buried and not cremated, my Nan thinks she can remember standing at the church which was on a hill. If anyone else can help shed a little light or tell me where would be the next best place to look I would REALLY appreciate it. Thanks Stacex

There is always the possibility that although the funeral service was held in a church he could have been buried in a local cemetery. Try to find out which borough cemeteries cover the area you are looking at.
