Is there anywhere i can find a divorce ?

I believe my 3xgreat grandfather married twice first in 1846 and again in 1860 his first wife died in 1862 but he remarried in 1860 I am wondering if in fact they divorced. Val |

Most unlikely at that time, unless they were absolutely loaded - divorce required parliamentary procedure. Bigamy, however, was common. Jay |

Yes Janet i did think of Bigamy... there was no children from the first marriage he then went on to have 8 children. Val |
