you need to get the marraige cert 1902 which will have thier fathers names on it and occupation and give age when they got married so then you should be able to find them on the census's hopefully Jeanette |

Is this the marriage? You would need to get the marriage certificate to get their ages and fathers names to go any farther back. Surname First name(s) District Vol Page -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marriages Jun 1902 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Brown Alfred Newark 7b 809 Elvidge Lucy Mary Newark 7b 809 Palmer Arthur Newark 7b 809 Searson Emily Newark 7b 809 Regards Fiona. |

according to my grans and great aunts birth certs their parents were emily searson and alfred brown. my great aunt was born melton mowbary, leic. and my gran a few years later in chesterfield. we think we have found a possible marriage in newark 1902 which would seem to fit with great aunts birth but stuck trying to go further back. any ideas. thanks |
