Sheila, I could hug you! that could be them as the other witness was Robert Royal. Off to be Sherlock Holmes for a while so if I run into the grooms family. |

Did try Pat* and got a few Patricks also tried a soundex without sucess got mainly Railly and they were all Patrick too. Oh well It was only a thought to track down the grooms parents and a long shot anyway |

There is a Patience Royall in Bristol in 1881/91 and 1901. Bristol is just across the water and fairly close. ( though my geography for Wales is not good) Sheila |

trying to look up a witness to a marrage but cant see any likely candidates her name was <i> Patience Royal</i> and witnessed the wedding in Monmouthshire June 1878. |
