I need to know where an Albert F Horne lived in the mid--late 70s he would have been in his 40s at the time, Is there any way of finding that out? Many thanks. |

If you have an idea of the general area, you might find him in telephone directories at the time. Kath. x |

Good point Tracy - I assumed 1970's (and I KNOW I shouldn't assume anything, lol). Kath. x |

I suppose you could go through the birth indexes and look for any Horne births after 1953, with mother's maiden name Williams, to see what area they were in then. You could then put a letter in one of the local newspapers for that area, to see if anyone remembered them or their family. I managed to contact my grandfather's daughter by his second marriage in this way. Kath. x |

I do know they were both in the army stationed in Catterick Yorkshire in early 50s when they married, and she was welsh. |
