It looks to me as if they did a capital G and an s, as in the first s of the ess at the end of the word Governess. Hope that makes sense! Then they decided to write do. |

I saw governess for Mary Smith 2 above but next line is not ditto is says somethings else I think for Martha Lavington and then follows to ditto for Sarah? |
