Alan, I did a quick look on FreeBMD for James births with a middle name of Campbell. To do this search you need to use the wildcard, so put '* Campbell' as the first name. Rose |

I had a look and your great grandmother's maiden name was Rogers. As Reg suggested you can go through the BMD's for any other James children with Rogers as the mother's maiden name. It's time consuming but I have found whole families this way. Susan |

You find the details of his birth on the records on Ancestry, which are free. The mother's maiden name will be recorded, as it's after 1911. You then trawl the records looking for birth with the same pairing of surnames............. Didn't you have thread running earlier about this man? And didn't several people find info for you? If I'm mistaken...excuse me. Can I ask a favour.............please do not post in upper case...................apart from grammatical requirements.........it's very hard on the eyes. Thanks Reg |
