Hi marcelle! My children were registered with their fathers surname BUT on ancestry it has them under my ex husbands surname. I wasn't married to their father at the time they were born and that is why!!!!

It should be on Ancestry, my son is there registered in 1974. Be sure to look at the complete index not just the free part. Heather

You'd need to get the certificate to find the exact date. It's possible that she was registered in the April to June quarter as she was born near the end of March. Heather

I was trying to find my sister. She was born March 23rd roughly 1971 - 74 and died shortly after birth. I found a birth cert years ago and found out she had a communual buriel but can't find an exact date.Does it make a difference if the cert was issued by the hospital

Where are you looking? If you're looking for births you may have to look in the following quarter as they can be registered up to 6 weeks after the event. Heather
