hi i've just looked on ancestry and there are doubled barrel names ie. smith -saunders smith- grogan. smith-grover. hazel.

Look for both names. Mine were sometimes Smith, sometimes Jones and sometimes Smith Jones, lol.

i have found someone in my tree born 1938 in london and the mams maiden name was a double barrell name does any1 no how this would work when looking through the births on ancestry? would their name b one full name? lets say the name was smith----jones on ancestry would they put the name smithjones as last name? hope u can understand what im trying to say rhanks
