trying to find a navy man

yes, there were acouple of henrys that didn't see to match but i'm confused as to why i can find the family on the early census 1871 1881 but no sign of him |

i'm trying to track down a distant uncle henry donovan.i know he was serving in the navy 1886 on hms edinburgh, as he is registered on my great grandfather matthew donovan army record as the next of kin and their mother louisa isalso down as next of kin.i've found louisa with matthew on various census records matthew was born 1867 give or take a year. anybody any ideas to track down henry? |
