Judy would i use a normal cd that i put music on or would i have to use a dvd disc to save it thanks

Pat....for documents, if they're not already on your PC, you would scan, using your scanner, the documents onto the PC and then treat the images just like you would a picture - which would be placed on the CD just like you would a picture. The pictures and documents can be placed on a CD without using Microsoft's PowerPoint program.....the program, though, allows you to be creative in your presentation making the pictures flash and you can add music. Thats great judy would i use that to upload the certs as well, and how hard would it be to do, i am quite technical minded. ??

The picture portion of the CD could be done with Microsoft's Powerpoint program.....which would allow you to make it a flash presentation - text can be added before or after the picture flashes or right on the picture itself.....text, ie family info can also flash on the screen....you choose the duration of the time the info stays on the screen before it flashes to the next frame. I am hoping to put all my tree information including photos onto disc for for older family members, Now they only have DVD players so how do you surgest i do it and what formats should i use, thanks
