Are you positive of the date? There is a Caunce to Ellen marriage in 1845 on Lancsbmd - but he isnt a Henry. As you seem to know the quarter, is there no corresponding female name on the Index? OC

I believe that the records on fiche are the Parish records...........if so, you would need to know the name of the church. Reg

If anyone is visiting the Preston R.O. could they please look up a wedding for me. Henry Caunce married Ellen ? 1848 Jul-Aug-Sept. I have been informed that I needed to buy the marriage certificate, but I believe that the records are available on microfiche as I have been given help in this way before.Henry was my great grandfather and details of his first marriage would be gratefully appreciated.
