I am trying to trace the marriage of my grandparents:- Leslie Robert R Bennett born 2nd September 1900 of London Nelly Lauretta Wilkes born January 1901 of Broom I would like to trace their marriage in order to find out the names of my grandad Leslies parents. His Father would have been another Bennett and his Mum I believe was Spanish or certainly part Spanish. I am guessing they were born in 1925 (although I may be wrong on the year). The final quarter of 1925. Please could anyone do a County Records Office look-up for Worcester , for a marriage in final quarter of 1925 - as this appears to be missing from on-line site. Does anyone have access to any other sites and able to look up this info please for me. I really have reached a solid wall at the moment and would love to find out when they married and who my grandad Leslies parents were. Many thanks for everyones help. Best wishes Joanne

You don't KNOW that this couple were married in Worcester, do you? If you can't find the marriage in the complete GRO indexes, then I suggest - if you are convinced they married in Worcester - that you contact the Worcester Register Office. The records office will have parish marriage registers, but if you don't know which parish (and they may have married in a register office or a non-conformist church) then its a lot of searching.

Joanne It may be because it's late, but I can't work out whose marriage you are looking for.........you mention so many names and dates. Please just give the names of the people who you think married in 1925.....thanks. Incidentally, which of the people you refer is 'grandad Leslie'? If he's the one born 1900, you can find his birth and get the cert to discover the names of his parents...........or have I misread your request? Reg

Sorry if I have misunderstood here, but if you are trying to find the parents of Leslie and you know his date of birth, surely the obvious answer is to get his birth certificate? Wendy
