	This looks like him:- John I'Anson, mother's maiden name Slater Jan qtr. 1923, Preston, 8e, 748 Are you sure you are looking at the complete birth index, as with the name and date you gave, it was on the first page I looked at. Kath. x

Member Since: April 2003 Posts: 339 Send Message	I am trying to help my friend start her family tree. She is trying to find the birth of her father so she can find out his parents names. Her fathers name was John I'Anson born approx Jan 1923. We are not sure were he was born but think it could be in Preston. I have been looking for a couple of hours now and cant find him. Back in a min. Jayne
