All the records sent to the GRO should have survived. If you post who you're after, someone might be able to help (unless they're still living)

Can anyone please tell me if some/any of the B/M/D records for Bristol were possibly destroyed during world War II? I have been trying, without success, to trace 2 branches of the family that were born, married & lived in the Bristol area. I have found one 1901 census record & one marriage record online, but nothing else. Is there anyone in the Bristol area who may be able/willing to do some research for me? Any help will be most welcome.
