Hi I was up at Strathmiglo and Kettle Barns Fife cemeteries recently and took photos of some of the gravestones, some of which don't connect to me so if you have any of the following will gladly give copies to anyone that wants them. RUSSELL Alex. 1780 - - of Pitlour.... RUSSELL Henry 1848 + family.... Beatson Agnes 1846 (wife).... RUSSELL James 1832 + family including MIDDLETON's.... RUSSELL Catherine 1897 - - very old and almost unreadable.... GILMOUR Robert 1921.... Kay Isabella 1925 (wife).... GILMOUR Wm of Pitlochie 1857.... Nevin Jane 1865 (wife).... Leburn Dorothy 1855 (?).... HENDERSON James 1911.... Binnie Margaret 1863.... Henderson James 1905 (son died USA).... PHILP Thomas1849 + family .... Kilgour Isabella 1882 (wife) - - (Kilcour?).... Norah ps off now might be back later or tomorrow What a mess I've made of this trying to get in lines under each other - sorry! -lol! |

surely there is a site somewhere you can put them on, I've seen a few dedicated for church photos but not grave stones yet. Any ideas anyone |

Yes there is a site. I've looked at it via a link from a thread here. They welcome any pictures people have taken and are trying to get more volunteers to take more pics. It's something I'd love to do, but the 6' gap between graves is somewhat limiting to my electric scooter, so I'm kind of stuffed on that one. If I find the link, I will come back here and post it for you. |

Hi It's not the right geographical area for me but there is a good example on a larger scale in Liverpool. See www.liverpool-ancestors.co.uk. It seems to have been done with the Records Office. I found the death of someone I was researching by e mailing them. Would the Records Office of the area you took the photos in be able to help you? Just a thought... Jenny |

Thanks Gerry and Jenny its a point I had'nt thought of Know ther are some folks on here with Strathmiglo and Kettle in their tree so was just hoping Norah ps why could'nt I get the names to come under each other the way I typed it ? |

Hi I noticed when I typed a larger piece, it cuts out all the paragraphs etc I put in. On shorter pieces, it kept the paragraphs. Grrr...space saving? Jenny |
