morning all, what a stinker of a day, raining cats and dogs in CHESHIRE. any chance of a look up on the 1871 census for WILLIAM J MC MICKEN or McMICKEN age 12/13 born LPOOL. his father was the same name, occ mariner. thanks every so. I posted a message on ANCESTRY message board in 2000 looking for him and his wife ALICE MAUD LUNT and you wont believe this, I got a reply from someone in the States who's grandmother was MARY McMICKEN daugher of ALICE MAUD my great aunt. 6 years later, I just cant believe it. if possible please a copy of the orignal census return.
