Jim I know that Richard and Ann were both born in Wimbish Essex and the 6 children I have for them were born in Trumpington, Cambridgshire so they were there between 1815 and 1822 but then they moved back to the Sampford/Wimbish area of essex but not sure what date This lot could be them |

Gwyn suppose only way to make sure is find marriage cert then birth cert if I have fathers name of marriage cert, will then see if its same family |

ok this is what I have william Poulter b 1838 born Shalford Essex Grandparents Richard and Ann Andrews live in Essex mother we presume is Elizabeth Andrews (only daughter we have for her parents) she was born in Cambridgshire in 1816 (in Trumpington) 1861 turns up with wife caroline next door to Uncle in Great Sampford Essex |

It could well be the same person......or his cousin. I have several cases of cousins with the same name, born in the same place of about the same age. Either cousin could be 'grandson' and both might have the same uncle to live near. Gwyn |

I have a grandson who is with grandparents in 1851 cant find him 1841 . He then turns up with wife in house next door to his uncle. Cant find his mother on a census or her marriage . Am I wrong to assume that this one is the same granson that was with his grandparents. year and birth place fit , |
