Hi I have just obtained my Gt Grandfather x 3 Marriage to Certificate to Mary Ann Sherratt. They married in 1853 in Sandbach Cheshire. The details are as follows: Henry Foden aged 24 Widdower Silk Piercer Mary Ann Sherrett 21 Spinster Henry's father name was George Foden occupational Silk Drifter Mary Ann's father was George Kilminster Sherratt I have found Mary's family. But struggling with Henry's. I have looked on the 1851 Census and found a Henry Foden with a wife listed as what looks like a G Foden and I can't find a George Foden anywhere in the Sandbach area. I have find the following marriages for Henry on Cheshire bmd 1844: Henry Foden and Frances Darlington 1848: Henry Foden and Mary Harvey 1848 Henry foden and Joice Pointon None of them beginning with the elusive G. All in the Sandbach/congelton area. In 1841 I can't find a Henry Foden with a father called George. So can anyone find me George Foden in 1841 or 1851. Or Henry in 1841. Regards cheryl
